Thanks for sharing this, Karen. I read Sally’s tribute to her beloved Sam, which brought back memories of my own beloved canine companion, Teddy Bear.

OMG, what an adorable name for a little doggie – Teddy Bear. I love canines too and my beloved Katie Bell, we lost her to cancer in 2010 and it broke my heart. She was my 14 year old, sweet little talkative dachshund.

Teddy was a chow chow and shepherd mix, so she was very sweet to me but quite aggressive with strangers. I lost her to her to cancer, too.

Oh, that is a very painful loss for you and maybe painful physically for Teddy. I cannot go through that again and so I will not be getting another doggy. I still have heartache over Katie Bell’s loss, but at least she had a very happy life and was loved by everyone. She never met a stranger. Teddy and Katie Bell are in Doggy Heaven. Karen π
