These are a poorly copied colored pencil drawings that I did for Delphi Altair Strange Beginnings, Book 1. They did look much brighter in the book, but some 40 odd drawings were really too much for my Science Fiction Fantasy, and I removed them from the book. These are just a few of them and they are all originals (of course…I am sure you can tell.) A short description of this book is listed under my K. D. Book’s page here. I loved writing this book and it is a trilogy, thus, I am now writing Book 2, Delphi Altair: The Star Map.
Oh wow. These are brilliant. I love these. π

Charles, thank you so much. I am shocked that they did turn out better than I thought they would. I was almost embarrassed to show them. I have lots more, but I didn’t want to over do it. Thank you, Karen π

Brigid, thank you so much…I really appreciate it. It was almost embarrassing to put these on WordPress, but I did it anyway. By the way…your book, I will be reading soon…it just so happens…it was book to read (friend’s books) number 20 and the mountain of books is getting much smaller now. It takes me along time to read one book, because of my eye condition and that is why I had surgery in January…I couldn’t read a book at all then and I have to be very careful to not try to read too much. Sometimes the posts we think people will not like as much are the ones they love. It is pretty impossible to read all the books that attract us. I like to mix Indie friends among the regular books. I am forever thankful to have the gift of sight. I hope your eyes continue to strengthen.

Cool. You have talent. You had the same concept I did when I wrote The Gribble’s Eye: younger folk want visual images more so these days than before.
I’m no artist, however, and so I commissioned a Fivrr artist to create fine sketches from my mockups. 50 in all. It cost me much less than one would expect, and as the artist lives in Indonesia, the money helped him out.
Here’s a sample that should present OK: https://drive.google.com/uc?view&id=1ihBGgiApVkL2hDlle9d9zEMrSOjdXwOE

Sue, thank you so much. You just made my day and that is so kind of you. I am so glad you like them and I have 40 more..I did them for my first novel, Delphi Altair Strange Beginnings and now I am writing the second book in the trilogy – Delphi Altair The Star Map…to be followed by Delphi Altair The Ghost Planet. All three are science fiction and great for 12 year olds and up! Karen π
