This mystical story is bound to capture your heart. Abigale Forester is only fourteen years old, recently orphaned, and has been sent to live with her Aunt Magnolia Forester, a woman she has never met, and is now her legal Guardian. Abigale was born with mystical gifts, inherited from her mother, along with a few hundred acres of swamp land that has been handed down for generations in her family.
This is no ordinary swamp. It is a place where mystical things happens, another realm, that is critical for the safety of mankind. Abigale has no idea what this has to do with her, but she will soon find out. In the meantime, a corrupt, greedy, and wealthy man as plans of his own to destroy the swamp and possibly Abigale and her aunt, as a form of revenge.
Danger is everywhere for Abigale as she tries to adjust to her new life. When the truth about the swamp legacy is revealed to her, Abigale is forced to make a decision about the swamp legacy and her choice is a dangerous one.
I highly recommend this mystical mystery that is so well written, by author Colleen M. Chesebro, that the story itself almost leaps off of the pages, right into your reality. It is that good. 5 Stars!
Karen, thank you so much for this fabulous review. This story was prompted by my introduction to an elemental in the Florida Swamp where we lived for a couple of years. I’m thrilled that you loved Abby’s story. Means the world to me. ❤️❤️❤️

Colleen, I do love Abby’s story, and I knew that you had an encounter there with an elemental, because of the way you described the scenes in the swamp. We both have had similar experiences. I wish I still lived next to a forest…lots of interesting sights there. It was my pleasure to write how great Abby’s story is. Thank you for writing it! Karen 🙂

Sally, that is wonderful for Colleen. I do love her style and content…just great. I love fantasy, fairies, dragons, and every fairy tale I can find. Plus, paranormal, time-slip, and now that I think of it, I just love books – all of them. We are so lucky to have such a wide choice. Although, many books, great books, are banned from schools and libraries in America…like To Kill a Mocking bird and so many others. (I think you may have done a post about that…some time ago.) Thank you so much for all you do to promote books, health and so much more. You are a wealth of knowledge. You are amazing. Karen 🙂

Hello Brigid, yes, she is a great writer, and I will be posting a review of “Watching the Daisies” soon. I have a least a dozen books to read for my author friends. As you know, I have not been able to read or write for almost a year, until recently (post-surgery in January). I can finally read and write, but I still must be careful while I still heal. I hope you are having lovely weather, because someone, some country should. We have had terrible weather here. Karen 🙂

Thank you Karen. It must be such a joy to be able to read and write again. Unfortunately, the weather here is pretty awful too. Very stormy and wet today. This too shall pass…
