Remembering what Democracy is all about is key to maintaining personal freedom within our constitutional democracy within our republic. Too many Americans have never been to a dictatorship country, so be careful what you wish for…it can happen here.

I still say as a military brat that EVERY American should be required to live in another country (one that does not speak English and is not necessarily Christian) for ONE YEAR. I consider having been raised in different countries to have made me personally and vividly aware of how much a pebble on the beach we are in this country.

Absolutely KC, then, they would look at America in a very different way. I was military Brat too, I even married into the military – Air Force.
