Remembering what Democracy is all about is key to maintaining personal freedom within our constitutional democracy within our republic. Too many Americans have never been to a dictatorship country, so be careful what you wish for…it can happen here.

Each of the top ten attended mass protests have occurred since 1963 and four of the top five have occurred since Donald Trump took office.

In case you haven’t read the clause recently, here it is:  The right to assembly is guaranteed by the First Amendment of the US Constitution: Congress shallmake no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right the people to assemble, and to the petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

When the government sends armed police to break-up and or arrest peaceful demonstrations by Americans, something is going terribly wrong…

    • Hi Cindy, and yes, things are terribly wrong and I fear it will get worse before it gets better, but it will get better. Thank goodness that November will be here before much more damage to our country happens. Karen 🙂

  1. I still say as a military brat that EVERY American should be required to live in another country (one that does not speak English and is not necessarily Christian) for ONE YEAR. I consider having been raised in different countries to have made me personally and vividly aware of how much a pebble on the beach we are in this country.
