K. D. Dowdall

Pen and Paper

Remember, each one who stands up, reduces the power of evil, because evil cannot live in the light of day.

So, do we have the moral strength to stand for what this country was founded for, even though not perfect. Inasmuch, as all men are created equal and thus, bigotry, racism, should not tolerated. We are all the same under the skin. Donald Trump, who has no moral authority to lead, does not believe in Democracy, does not stand for what America is suppose to stand for? It is for us to stand up to people who hate others for their religion and the color of their skin.

Remember that these  White Supremacists, White Nationalists, Neo-Nazis, and racist hate God’s children, made in his image.  This is how it began in Germany. This is how it begins in America!

  1. Yes! We MUST stand up lest history repeat itself!

    1. Yes, Kim, we must and the more courage we show, will dim their prospects of turning our country into another Nazi country. Thank you for your courage to stand up, again!

    1. Thank you Felicia, we have to take a stand, because when good people remain silent that is when bad things happen – like Nazis. We can have empathy for them, but the can’t bring their hate with them. Karen

We must absolutely stand up against the neo-nazis, the alt right, Trump, and their ilk.

    1. Thank you Professor French, you are among the writers that do believe we must stand up, but many, although they believe, don’t choose, at this time to speak out. I do understand. I am proud of the CEOs that have showed moral courage, because it is difficult for many to speak. Thank you for your moral courage! K D 🙂

  4. Thank you, again, Charles, for reblogging this post and I am heartened to see that three more writers have also re-blogged this post. K D

  5. Great post, I’ve linked it to mine tomorrow.

  6. Thank you Jean and I wish there were more writers and bloggers that will stand up, like you, Charles, Felicia, and Kim. I see there are now 13 senators who have now stood up and they are courageous in my eyes. K. D.

    1. Thank you so much. I am concerned and I believe we should all stand up and acknowledge what is happening in our country. Karen 🙂

  7. The beauty of it is the apparent “shock” of the alt right as it realized that while they were tucked away in their bunkers counting their entitlements, most politicians, most white Americans, the New South and law enforcement stopped being on their side a long, long time ago…

    1. KC, as usual you write something awesome! You are so astute and see through so much verbal and written noise. Thank you for your common (or not so common) sense. Karen 🙂

    1. Thank you! I live by the old saying my mother use to say, “If you don’t stand up for something you believe in, you will fall for anything and pay the consequences.” K D 🙂
