The dance of life
is the spirit,
That resonates
Within us,
In each moment
Of our existence,
It dances,
To each heartbeat,
With every breath,
And every sigh,
With each tear,
That falls,
When lost has come,
To steal our joy,
Yet,
The spirit within us,
Sees a rainbow,
On the other side,
Of each lost dream,
Our quenchless,
Spirit,
Is ever there,
To guide us,
To the future joy,
We shall know.

Again, thank you Dr. French. I think this is true of all of us, with in us.

So true. When I the UK I taught some dance classes which I called “Life Dance” and this captures part of what it was about.
The Spirit is Life-giving.

Hello, thank you for for liking this poem. I also taught dance classes, mostly classical dance (ballet & Jazz). And yes, the spirit in all of us is life -giving! 🙂
