The Sheer Madness of Love

Love makes us whole,

Completes us,

Yet out of sheer madness,

It tears us apart,

Love’s folly,

Yet, we learn,

We survive,

We wait,

We believe,

Until one day,

We find,

A cornucopia,

Of love,

A cherished thing,

Cradled with care,

For you,

Are my heart,

And the gentle hand,

That touches my soul.
